Little Alice strayed from her world
Deceived by a lie, into a path with no return
A promise, the black book had told
Eternity, is what she aimed for

Oh, such strange wonders are what I see!
The gate once opened, now closed has welcomed me

Is this a mirage or fever dream?
Oaken trees now surround me
I'm falling deeper in

Toxic spores dance in the air
The darkness glares with vile intent
I hold my breath as I push on
I hold no fear for this poison

So many nights I've spent without sleep
I seek the power, it beckons me

Monstrous mushrooms block my path
I shall obtain that which is mine
My conscience lured in by the call
Of the black book that I must find
I've seen it before in my dreams
The words within, oh, so tempting
The end of my humanity
Eternal life is what I seek

The magic that lays deep within
Will save me from eternal sleep
I'll cut the puppet strings of all
The maggots that roam inside me
The Grimoire now floats before me
Its power is pulling me in
I tremble as I take it in
